Tell us about your favourite holiday!

We all love a good holiday – whether it’s jetting off to our dream destination to explore the world and experience new cultures and cuisines, or simply getting away from it all with a nice drink and forgetting all of your troubles, we love the opportunity for some time to ourselves!

But after all that’s done and you’ve come back home, all you have are the memories – and hopefully photos, because that’s what our competition this week is all about! Tell us about your favourite holiday, and share a photo from it, for a chance to win one of our fantastic Oasis Dining & Entertaining Collections, with a table, four chairs, a parasol and a parasol base – perfect for garden dining on lovely days, all-year round!

We’ll be choosing our favourite photo and comment, and announcing the winner of our competition on Monday the 22nd of August! We look forward to seeing all of your entries, and wish you all the best of luck!

My favourite holiday was with my husband to Thailand. We lay on beaches, rode elephants, ate our weight in noodles and explored temples. A highlight was finding this swing on an isolated beach – like something off a postcard it was an amazing spot!

When me and my sister were younger my grandparents took us to Bantham Bay in Devon every year! We stayed in the same old farmhouse and we would get invited to go pick the fresh eggs and go on a egg hunts! On nights we would go moth hunting down country lanes with our nets and the headlights of the car on (probably doesn’t seem the most entertaining but it was fascinating) we would go the beach for sandy sandwhichs and go in our Dingy we named Diane, we have still got her hidden somewhere! We would go horse riding, water parks and so much more! Our mum and dad wasn’t the richest but loved us so much they wanted us to still have a summer! Our grandparents gave us everything we could have wanted on those holidays to Bantham from 1994 to 1998 until nan became to unwell to travel long distant. I fully intend on taking my sons there one day just to relive those moments and pay a respect to both my grandparents who are no longer with us. Without them I would never of had the best summers and most importantly some of the best memories I shall carry with me till the end! Thank you. Hope you had a great summer xx
