This bank holiday we visited a garden centre for new bedding plants, went to Whipsnade Zoo for a day trip and had some well deserved chill out time on our patio with our new citronella candles! X

We spent the bank holiday weekend basking in the sunshine and enjoying some much needed quality family time. We played outdoor games like connect 4, dominoes and twister and enjoyed al fresco dining. Shame the good fun times had to end.

Weekend spent in the sunshine with lots of tea breaks ..potting out little salad plants from my recycled dustbin into the garden beds. They are really easy to grow but hard to keep the snails away!

We got out and about in our garden at home and visiting friends, we always went prepared knowing the British weather and Bank Holidays don’t always talk to each other!

Exploring the beautiful Lake District and getting fit at the same time. Surely it’s everyone’s favourite garden?
